At a cost ranging from £32-£50, you may find it difficult to a better recipe for integrating your iPod into the rest of your home entertainment theory than the Unison i-Xd Dock by Cygnett.

Unobtrusive in design, the Unison i-Xd Dock provides an interface in the middle of your iPod and a wide range of devices whilst allowing the user to view films and other video on the television or computer monitor screen, or listen to music on Cd or in .mp3 format on one's home stereo system. By using the thin, lightweight remote control apparatus, one can easily control the volume whilst navigating library lists from over the room. In addition to the remote control, the Unison i-Xd Dock includes a Usb cable, a 3.5 mm to Rca adaptor and an S-Video cable as well as a 2 metre power adaptor. The Unison i-Xd Dock is of sturdy construction, and ready in your selection of two colours (black or white). Small enough to carry along on holiday or in any place else one may wish to go, the Unison i-Xd Dock measures only 9.5x6.9x2.5 centimetres - slightly smaller than Apple's own iPod dock.




Set-up and integration with one's personal entertainment tool is a dawdle when using the Unison i-Xd Dock's Usb capabilities, particularly when using it for video.
